Do you want to know how to increase targeted web site traffic? If so, we have the answers you seek. It’s not always a google search that you need to rely upon to drive traffic to your website. The very best way is to write your own article and submit it to free article directories. I know that you have probably heard this a lot, but it is because it works. Let’s look at how to do this.

First, you should take your keywords and write a 300-500 word article for each keyword. You will want to have your keyword in your title and in the first and last paragraph. You should look for an overall keyword density of around 2-5%. Make sure you are writing good content. Something that your readers can learn.

The most important part is your resource box. Create a call to action. A good example would be: At Quality Candles, we make candles in every size and shape.  We offer unique, lower-priced candles, free shipping, first-time customer discounts, and guarantee quality in every custom candle we make.  It is easy for you to get the candle you want, visit us at www.yourdomain.com.  It is best if you had a link to your main page, also, if you created an anchor text link that links to your blog. Next, how do you get these articles noticed?  There are article directories where you can submit your article free.  Almost all of these require you create a user name and password, but it won’t cost you anything.  One site we found has category subjects from Automobiles to Writing and everything in between. There are subcategories as well under the main categories.  So if you write eBooks, you might search for a subcategory under writing for “eBooks” and post your article there.  Here is a list of some article directories you can submit your article to. This can be time consuming, but it is well worth it. There is also submission tools you can use to speed up the process.

You will want to do a quick rewrite of your article and submit it to ezinearticles. Do another quick rewrite and submit it to goaritcles. Now do another quick rewrite of the article and submit the same article rewrite to two or three article directories. Repeat the process until you have your articles submitted to all to the article directories you want to submit to. Like I said before, this can be time consuming, but this is how you can increase targeted web site traffic to your site in a big way.  Remember, you don’t have to pay outsiders or SEO (search engine optimizers) to drive traffic to your website.  With these tips, you can efficiently increase your web site traffic. 

Keyword research is one of the most important steps you must get right if you want to make money over the internet. When people go to their favorite search engine to search what they are looking for, they punch in keywords. If you were looking for information on gardening then you would type the word gardening in the search bar. If you were selling things that were related to gardening and was on first page of google for that keyword could you imagine how much traffic you would get to your site? Our goal is to end up on first page of google for our keyword. This is where most people go wrong if they want to make money over the internet. They don’t properly do their keyword research. In part one of this post we learned of a couple of free keyword tools to use for your research. In part two of this post we went over some correct ways of picking out your keyword.

Now that you have found a keyword that you want to target, you want to use it as an anchor text as often as possible. If you are in any way familiar with html, the code that you would use is:

Another way that you can link your keyword phrase to your site is by clicking on a button like this

You highlight your keyword phrase then click the link button and you put in your sites url. If you have went through the proper steps of choosing your keyword then you should end up on first page of google. Here is an example of my keyword phrase on first page of google.

There are just over 31 million websites for this keyword phrase. I am number 8 on the first page of google at the time of this writing.
